Cookie Policy

Last updated: 23 September 2026

SpydrGuard uses cookies and similar technologies on spydrguard.com. This policy describes their purposes and your choices. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.

1. What these technologies do

Cookies are small files stored on a device. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels and identifiers used by Shopify and integrated services. Some persist between visits; others end when the browser session ends.

2. Categories

  • Necessary: cart, checkout, security, fraud prevention, account sign-in, subscription operation and remembering privacy choices. These are used only to the extent strictly necessary to provide a service you request or transmit communications.
  • Preferences: optional settings such as language or display preferences where not strictly necessary.
  • Analytics: measuring visits, interactions and store performance.
  • Marketing: campaign attribution, advertising measurement and personalised advertising across sites.

3. Consent and controls

In Norway, non-essential storage or access requires valid GDPR standard consent under the Electronic Communications Act. Optional categories should remain off until you affirmatively choose them. The store must offer a clear way to accept, reject and manage choices, without making rejection harder than acceptance. You can withdraw or change consent at any time through the privacy preferences or cookie settings control on the site; withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing. Browser controls can also clear cookies, but may impair carts or sign-in. If the preference control is unavailable, email info@spydrguard.com.

4. Providers and cookie details

Shopify provides storefront, cart, checkout, customer account and consent technology. Seal Subscriptions may use technology necessary for the subscription portal. Optional analytics, social or advertising integrations may be activated only in line with your consent and the live configuration. Providers and identifiers, purposes and lifetimes can change when the store configuration changes; the consent interface and browser storage inspection provide current details. We will update this policy when material integrations change. We do not claim that a policy alone blocks optional scripts: consent controls must be configured to do that.

5. Personal data and transfers

Where a cookie identifier can identify or single out a person, the Privacy Policy explains the corresponding data processing, legal bases, recipients, retention and EEA transfer safeguards. Contact info@spydrguard.com for details or rights requests.
